It was a personal project in order to learn How to make best textures for your assets. To the end I did not stop to take this to unity. Thi is a typical Workflow:
.- You should investigate about pics or videos:
.- Make a bluesprints in order to get a best spatial idea in your 3D Software, It would be very useful for make good textures. Check out the "collider" modelled together the little truck:
.- There is a technique called "Baked Textures", it's a good tool to get a better textures for videogames:
.-You need to "unwrap" your 3D models and export the images to an image editor like Gimp or Photoshop and tweak every detail:
.- After a lot of test-error this is the result (3DS Max and Vray):
.- And now you must export your model in one standar format to Unity, in my case I used .FBX. You should do continuous exports while you are doing your model and don't wait for errors in your finished 3D model:
.- Ok, I'd got the car...but I need a Track....check out the next part for it :)
